GAC MSP6746 Magnetic Speed Sensor M18 x 1.5 Threaded
By PGA LLC AdmiN | |

Magnetic Pickups

GAC's Magnetic Speed Sensors are a rugged and economic solution for detecting engine speed. The Magnetic Speed Sensor detects when ring gear teeth, or other ferrous projections, pass the tip of the sensor. Electrical impulses are produced by the sensor’s internal coil and sent to the speed control unit. The signal from the magnetic speed sensor, teeth per second (Hz), is directly proportional to engine speed. Sturdier than plastic sensors and outperforming semiconductor-type devices at high temperatures, GAC's epoxy-encapsulated sensors are unaffected by dust and dirt. Speed sensors are available in various lengths in both U.S. and metric threads. Over 35 styles are currently available. Wire leads, military connectors, Packard connectors, automotive connectors, or stud terminals are also available. 2.7 in [69 mm] Thread Length - 1.5 ft [0.46 m] Harness - Automotive Connector - Aluminum
  • -65 ºF to +255 ºF (-54 ºC to +107 ºC) Operating Temperature
  • Available for hazardous location installation (not certified)
  • Produces electrical frequency
  • Requires no energizing circuit from control
  • Used on all GAC's electronic speed controllers

McPherson Controls ADVR-073 Hybrid Analog / Digital Voltage Regulator
By PGA LLC AdmiN | |
The ADVR-073 is an advance (Hybrid Analog/Digital Voltage Regulator) design for general-purpose isochronous applications. The ADVR-073 uses an reliable CPU (Central Processing Unit) in its design. This eliminates complex analogue components and circuits that are inherently over sensitive to temperature eliminating voltage instabilities and drift. In addition, we added over excitation and loss of sensing shutdown protections, with matching U/F, O/E LED indicator lights. Consequently, this AVR prevents the generator from excitation overload, preventing exciter and regulator damage. It is easy to install and flexible for use in both shunt type and generators with auxiliary windings.
